In March, 2016, a 24-piece replica of Zenghou Yi chime bells arrived at the Center. This is the first set of this type of bells in North America.

A collaboration between the Center for Chinese Music and Culture and the Center for Popular Music at Middle Tennessee State University. Dr. Mei Han, Director of the CCMC performed three traditional zheng pieces that were recorded by Martin Fisher.
